CEI - Standardization Conference

Dear collegs,

After the final vote for the standard EN 15733, “services for real estate agents” in CEN, it is time to discuss the conclusions, that real estate agents associations can draw from the standard.

As CEI, we would like to invite your association to discus the next steps out of the standard. Therefore we would like to ask you, to save the date of:

Thursday, 26th of November
and join our Conference and discussion.

The two European real estate agents associations, CEI and CEPI, have made their position, that this standard is a start.

Now we would like to discus and share experiences in subjects as qualification standards, consumer protection, complaints handling, certification and other important matters. We have heard from several countries that there is an intense discussion about the future role of the standard for the real estate agents.

As president of the CEI and as the chairman of the standardisation committee, we would like to put all discussions on a common basis and give the opportunity to share points of view.

In Brussels we will not have a host for the room and the conference, so we will charge a fee of app. 100,- € for each participant for the room, lunch break and coffee and hope that this will find your agreement.

For the preparation of the conference it would be of great help, if you could confirm your general interest and indicate us how many people from, your association, are planning to attend the conference.
